Irish IceFest
The Emerald Park Cross Country Ski Club is hosting the Irish IceFest, and the day will kick off with a Free Community Breakfast @ Aspen Links Clubhouse, followed by Irish dancers performing at 11:00 AM. It will be a fun morning for the community!
Hockey Helps The Homeless
Hockey Helps the Homeless, is a national charity hockey tournament in 25 cities, and we are bringing the tournament to Regina for the first time on April 24th, supporting Carmichael Outreach. We have interest from a few small businesses that won’t be able to fill a full roster and are looking at combining 2 or 3 companies in some cases to fill a full squad, so that is an option as well for those who might want to participate but don’t have a large enough employee base. If there is any interest in participating contact Austin Bentz.

On Wednesday, March 11th, at 8:00 in the Ramada, Emerald Park fellow WCEPBA Member, Mark Roney with MLT Aikins will be presenting. From Mark: “We will have leaders from our internal Agribusiness and Food and Labour & Employment practice group to provide a focused summary of these in-demand areas of law, including the services that are available and some trends that are impacting local businesses right now. We will also provide an introduction of our firm, MLT Aikins, and our Western Canadian presence, focus and expertise”.

The association is open to local businesses and owners who live in this area. To become a member, fill out a Membership Application and bring it along to the next breakfast meeting to enjoy the benefits (letter). Meetings are open to everyone in the business community in the greater Emerald Park, North Service Road, White City area. If you do business in the area, we would love to see you.
Breakfast meetings are held at 8 a.m. on the second Wednesday of each month from January through June and from September through December at the Ramada, Emerald Park. Not a member? Your first meeting is on us!
This year the White City/Emerald Park Business Association offers (5) $1,000 scholarships. Scholarships are available to students graduating from Grade 12 and enrolling in post-secondary Education.
